The reimagined Iraqi Council of Representatives building embodies dignity, stability, and unity. Its lighting design highlights both a beacon of governance and a symbol of resilience and national pride.

Respecting the Architecture

The building’s facade defined by rhythm, proportion, and strength was treated with profound respect.
Every light source was positioned to enhance architectural symmetry without overpowering the historic texture.
Through subtle contrasts of brightness and shadow, the structure’s form emerged with renewed clarity and confidence.

Light as a Language of Identity

Rather than mere illumination, the lighting sought to communicate meaning.
Warm tones conveyed heritage and continuity, while controlled beams accentuated the vertical lines of authority.
The night-time presence of the Parliament became a silent symbol of unity, visible from afar as a beacon of civic pride.

Precision, Safety, and Serenity

Beyond aesthetics, the project balanced functionality and emotion.
Energy-efficient LED technology ensured reliability and sustainability, while enhancing security and visibility across the site.
The result was a harmonious blend of safety, serenity, and symbolism — a lighting composition worthy of the nation’s highest institution.
