Laterna Lighting was founded by Ayat Al-Khazraji and Mustafa Jumaah , both holding master’s degrees in physics and sharing a deep passion for light and design.
Blending science with artistry, they created a brand where light speaks preserving heritage and inspiring emotion.
Inspired by Eng. Muneer Al-Khazraji’s legacy, Laterna continues a family journey devoted to meaningful illumination.

Eng. Muneer Al-Khazraji

Eng. Muneer Al-Khazraji was a pioneer of lighting design in Iraq , a designer who saw light not as decoration, but as remembrance.
For over fifteen years, he dedicated his life to illuminating architecture with meaning, revealing history through every beam of light.
His deep passion for heritage and culture led him across the world exploring exhibitions, attending international lighting conferences, and sharing ideas with leading designers such as Sally Storey, who admired his thoughtful and poetic vision of light.
His legacy lives on in Laterna Lighting, inspiring us to create illumination that connects memory with modernity, and emotion with precision.
